Why now?

I’ve been waiting and waiting for snow for weeks. I really, really wanted some snow. Really. And now, it finally started snowing, but it happens to be at a really horrible time. I’m about to leave to go out with people and have to drive a long way to get there. I don’t want to drive in the snow, but here I go anyway, in my attempt to expand (re-create) my social life. Please send my positive/don’t-die-on-the-parkway vibes. Thanks.
